Good god this company is deplorable begging for tax payers money while paying customers are being held captive because of unpaid bills. Thousands of people are about to lose their dream holidays and hard earned money because this company failed to catch up to the times and wasted time knowing this would inevitably happen but they still took all the money from their loyal customers. The tax payer is paying either way because the clean up and evacuation of those stranded will need to be paid for and you can bet the Thomas Cook bosses are already saving their money. I hope the staff get paid and are not currently working knowing that they will never get paid. There should be prosecutions of those who let this happen and should not be allowed to run a company ever again.
