I think Philip Hammond and parliament have forgotten that his ‘Simple in / out referendum ‘ bill back in 2015 was carried by 544 votes to 53 . Every MP apart from the Scottish Nationalists voted for this bill. The simple in/out referendum was exactly that for the British people. No special terms or what the withdrawal terms should be if we voted to leave. Philip Hammond needs to honour the referendum result and stop trying to overthrow a legitimate majority decision by the people of the UK to leave the European Union.
